How I got here
My design career began in the early 2000s as an integral part of a niche music scene, designing artwork for albums, posters and shirts. I built my own client base in the music industry while simultaneously attending school, which preceded my joint partnership on a New York based design company called Sons of Nero, with notable clients such Madonna and MTV.
My education in corporate design came from an internship with Action Figure of Austin, which led me to Tocguigny and Design & Rhetoric (an offshoot of Action Figure). I’ve had the opportunity to grow as a leader in my role as Creative Director at Gravity Global and manage a wonderful team of creatives.
In addition to design, I have extensive experience in music production, as both a performer and a producer. My work has taken me from Texas to Ibiza, and everywhere in between, giving me the opportunity to work side by side with artists such as The Killers, Britney Spears and Grace Jones. Though my active involvement in the music industry took a back seat to my design work in 2010, I still work on passion projects whenever I get the chance.
